IIITM-K considers consultancy services to be an important component of its activities. The institute has strength in several areas of Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Sciences and Management. The labs and research facilities and expertise available with the institute can be utilized for providing services for the benefit of the government and the industry. The consultancy services will be provided by faculty members as individuals or teams on a case basis to provide solutions to industry by sharing the expertise and competence of experienced faculty and technical staff of IIITM-K to solve problems, provide technical or managerial solution or to develop new technologies and applications in client organizations.
The areas in which the institute currently has capabilities for providing consultancy services are the following:
