Connexion provides an opportunity to physicists, mathematicians, chemists, engineers, social scientists, biologists, and any professional who is passionate about ecology and the environment to introduce/ demystify a technical concept, which you believe has relevance to ecology/ environmental science. Authors should submit an abstract, indicating their preference for inclusion in this section. Abstracts, in Connexion, need not necessarily have an objective and results.
A computer engineer explaining Cellular Automata/ Ant Colony Optimization/ Swarm Intelligence, etc. from an ecological perspective, a physicist relating entropy to biological diversity and a mathematician relating graph theory/ fractal geometry to ecology are three instances of connexion.
Authors are expected to deliver their connexion in 20 minutes and to the possible extent avoid conventional slide based presentation. However, authors are required to submit an abstract.
