Digital Varsity to Hold Two-day Digital Summit

Ahead of its formal inauguration later this month, Kerala University of Digital Sciences, Innovation, and Technology (KUDSIT) is conducting a two-day digital summit at its campus in Technocity, Mangalapuram from February 15.
The summit, ‘DX21: Digital Transformation Summit’, beginning at 2 pm on the opening day will be conducted in a hybrid mode with experts from different parts of the world participating.
The first day of the summit is titled ‘Digital Innovation Day’ where leading international technologist Don Tapscott will deliver the keynote address. Prof C. Mohan, former IBM Research Fellow and Professor, National University of Singapore; Dr Jane Thomason, Social Digital Innovation Leader and Industry Associate at UCL; and Prasanna Lohar, Head, Digital Innovation, DCB Bank, will lead the sessions. Leading IT companies from the State will showcase digital innovations in various fields.
On the second day, titled ‘Digital Transformation Day’, Dr Raj Jain, Professor Washington University, USA and Co-Inventor of the DEC-bit scheme for congestion avoidance in computer networks will deliver the keynote address.
The other sessions will be led by Dr Ajith Abraham, MIR Labs, USA; Dr Mukesh Mohania, IIIT Delhi; Dr Bhaskar Choubey, Siegen University, Germany; Dr Srinivas Padmanabhuni, Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder, City Mandi; Dr Schahram Dustdar, The TU Wien, Austria; Dr Vineeth. N. Balasubramanian, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Hyderabad; Dr Vincenzo Piuri, University of Milan, Italy; Dr Swagatam Das, Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Kolkata, Dr Axel Sikora, University of Applied Sciences Offenburg, Germany; and Dr Sougata Mukherjea, IBM Research-India.
