Spot admission for filling vacant seats in MPhil (Ecological Informatics)
A few seats are vacant for M.Phil-Ecological Informatics for 2020-21 intake. Interested candidates who meet the admission eligibility (https://www.iiitmk.ac.in/course/mphil-ecological-informatics/) are requested to contact +91 9744141350 and send scanned copies of all original certificates as a single pdf document to firstname.lastname@example.org. List of certificates that need to be submitted:
- Masters Degree certificates / Provisional Degree certificates and mark sheets in support of eligibility to the course.
- Any government approved photo affixed Identity Card
- Proof of Date of Birth
- Transfer Certificate (from the institution last attended)
- Conduct Certificate (from the institution last attended)
- Caste and Community Certificate
- Income Certificate
- Non-creamy layer certificate (for OBC candidates)
- Recent passport size colour photograph (Taken within 6 months)
- Migration certificate from the university last enrolled. If not readily available, this may be brought at the time of joining.
- Certificate of disability for candidates who are seeking admission in reservation quota.
Last date of application: 14th October 2020
Those candidates who are in the final year of the qualifying exam and have not received the degree certificates and mark lists and hence are not able to upload the final certificates, mark lists , migration and conduct certificate should submit an online declaration stating that they will submit the same by 10th January 2021.
Filling up of vacant SC/ST category seats by specific OEC category candidates with domicile of origin in Kerala
Filling of SC/ST category seats in case of vacancies still remaining after the initial admission process will be done by eligible candidates falling in the OEC category of Kerala domicile getting the first priority. In case you have appeared for the admission test (ITCAT) of MSc Computer Science program of IIITM-K 2020 intake, please see the point given below regarding eligibility criteria and check whether you are eligible to get admitted in the vacant seats marked for SC/ST category. For already admitted candidates this will be used for allotting specializations of higher choice in case vacant SC/ST seats are available in the higher choice specialization. If you are interested and are eligible, you may fill the online form given below.
Other Eligible Community (OEC): Other Eligible Community (OEC) candidates with domicile of origin in Kerala are eligible for vacant seats, if any, remaining under SC/ST quota, as per G.O.(P) No.135/87/H.Edn. dated 06.05.1987. The eligible 20 communities coming under OEC are specified in the G.O No. 14/2017 dated 02.08.2017 https://bcdd.kerala.gov.in/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/4028.pdf . Candidates should furnish “Community certificate” and “Non-Creamy Layer” Certificate obtained from Village Officer/Tehsildar concerned in the proforma available in the website itself as per G.O.(P) 1/2015/BCDD dated 01.01.2015 at the time of admission. Relaxation in marks in qualifying examination as in the case of SEBC will be applicable to OEC Candidates (as per G.O.(P) No.53/2000/SCSTDD dated 03.07.2000).
