The European Research and Collaboration Project with Asia (EURECA) is an initiative by 14 Universities from Europe and South Asia to promote the exchange of students, faculty and researcher between these universities.

Deadlines

Students interested in availing the offerings of the program should immediately talk to interested faculty at IIITM-K. They are required to submit a written project/research proposal for their visit. The deadline for submitting student applications is Oct 8th, 2008. There will be a review meeting on Monday, 27th Sep 2008 3:30pm at the Park Centre Conf. Room. All interested faculty and students should attend this meeting to briefly present their application (proposal) to the faculty.

PG Students

07/10 Tu: 5pm
- Submission of Applications to the local coordinator/committee
- Submission of applications in group 2 (non Eureca partner univs) directly to Amrita University

13/10 Mon: 2pm - 4:30pm Committee meets to scrutinize applications and select candidates. Includes interview/presentation (10 min each).

15/10 Wed: Mailing of hard copy of applications and selection list to Amrita University.

Undergraduate Degree Certificates (2 copies) attested by Registrar IIITM-K or Gazzetted Officer
Copy of passport (front and back pages), attested. (2 copies)
Official Mark List copies from IIITM-K (copy)
Eureca Application Form (entries that you filled in in the online form)
Curriculum Vitae (Resume)
Certificate indicating if you are
- Economically disadvantaged
- Differently abled
A project/research plan or plan for study of courses
Evidence, in the form of correspondence from a European partner expressing interest in your application.
