Computational Chemistry

Computational Chemistry Portal of IIITMK (www.compchem.in) is a service portal for the academic community aims at bringing chemistry and chemists together. It provides free access to high performance computing clusters for academic community in India (480 registered users) and a blog to interact with experts. The portal give updates about recent R&D in science and links to different teaching and learning resources. About 20 national / international workshops / seminars were conducted / helped in conducting at IIITMK and other institutes. Four international publications and more than ten seminar papers were published from the computational chemistry portal and another half a dozen manuscripts are under preparation. This Centre is presently engaged in developing web based course contents for IGNOU and giving training to chemistry teachers.
