Selected under EURECA(European Union Research and Educational Collaboration with Asia) scholarship from IIITM-K (Dept. of IT, GoK) for study at VU University, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Successfully completed training programme and project in Intelligent Multimedia Technolgy under Prof. Dr. Anton Eliens and Multimedia research group at FEW , Dept. of Computer Science and Eureca Programme manager Dr.Patricia Lago, VU University from March 31 - June 30, 2009.

1989-1990: Selected by National Union of Students (NUS) to Captain Brighton Tech. (now City College, Brighton and Hove) Football team in the Inter College and Universities Football  league in East Sussex County, England.

1990: Attended the Farnborough International AirShow in Aldershot , England.

1986-1989: played competitive tennis at junior level u-16,u-18 in England - won Volkswagen Rating Division at the Weald Tennis Club,Lewes,England representing Pavillion and Avenue Tennis Club-Brighton. qualified for Surbiton (Juniors) pre-Wimbledon. Attended Queens club and Wimbledon to watch the famous names in tennis including Edberg and Becker.

1992-2000: Team member of the Indian Club 'A' and Gulf Hotel teams in the Bahrain 'Caltex' National Tennis League, Division A. member of winning team securing promotion of Indian Club Team to Division A. part-time Tennis instructor at the Indian club for juniors. quarter finalist-singles of prestigious Indian Club - Coca Cola International Open Tennis in Singles.

2009: attended Roland Garros Tennis, Paris, France
