Services of CITI


The services and support provided by CITI will be taken into account of the range of requirements that any new business start up is likely to have. The following services and facilities will be provided by CITI.

(i)Innovation and Entrepreneurship Support

  • To act as an institutional mechanism for providing various services to build all aspects of enterprises to budding students and freshers.

  • To inculcate a culture of innovation driven entrepreneurship among students and young minds and enabling to convert job-seekers into job-generators.

  • To catalyse and promote development of technology, research, and knowledge-based enterprises and to promote employment opportunities in the innovative areas.

  • To initiate students projects for new innovative product.

  • To guide and assist prospective entrepreneurs on various aspects such as preparing project reports, obtaining project approvals, information on technologies facilitating financial assistance like loans/grants etc.

  • To arrange interaction with entrepreneurs and create a mentor-ship scheme for entrepreneurs.

  • To facilitate creation of entrepreneurís club to foster culture of entrepreneurship amongst students.

  • To provide advise on strategic planning and business development such as market research, market Strategy, business promotion, financial planning, manpower planning and recruitment, intellectual property, legal and taxation issues, identification of potential partnerships and alliances etc.

(ii) Infrastructure and Office Support


  • Physical facilities with furnished office space.

  • Computing, Communication and Information system facilities.

  • Clerical assistance and office facilities such as photocopy, stationary etc.

(iii) Mentoring, Training and Consultancy


  • Training for the startup team on various topics related to new business venture.

  • Mentors and consultant provide various inputs such as business plans, technology, tie up with other agencies, bringing the product/development/technology into commercial entity, mobilizing funds, creating access to markets, augmenting managerial skills etc.

  • Help them into filing patents,copyrights, trademarks and designs, investor's linkages, grants or soft loans, bringing up them during crisis, conducting various training etc.
