Placements

IIITM-K has proven track record of placing its students in top notch IT industries and research organizations and also maintaining its reputation by achieving more than 90% placement.  The institute has an attractive placement cell with several experts providing orientation and counseling for its students.   The institute has close relations with many organizations that help its students getting good exposure and placement.   The salary package varies from 3.5 lakh   to 5.00 lakh/annum For the M.Sc IT batch(2009-11),  about 50% of its students  have received attractive placement from TCS during  the campus selection.  TCS has rated IIITM-K in the rank of A+  and honoured  us being the status of First Company at IIITM-K to recruit the students, who are passed out in 2011

GE India: John F Welch Technology Centre, Bangalore, a multi–disciplinary research and development center recruited 7% of our students for internship and they were absorbed based on performance.
